Washington Banking names Robert Severns to board
Washington Banking Co. said Tuesday that Robert T. Severns was elected to its board and the board of its Whidbey Island Bank subsidiary.
Severns is the president of Chicago Title Insurance Co.'s Island Division in Oak Harbor, Wash. He has held that position since 1999. He also served on the Island Title Co. board of directors for 15 years and is currently chairman of the board for Land Title of Kitsap and Mason counties in Washington.
In trading for the day, Washington Banking shares rose 33 cents, or 2.8 percent, to close at $12.32.
