BJ's Wholesale to accept food stamps at all clubs
BJ's Wholesale says it will accept electronic food stamp payments at all stores
BJ's Wholesale Club says it will begin accepting electronic food stamp payments at all of its 180 stores.
The Natick, Mass.-based chain said Tuesday that effective immediately, members can purchase food with government-issued food stamps through Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) payments.
BJ's president and CEO Laura Sen said the decision was a recognition of the different and changing financial needs of its members.
BJ's, which operates stores in 15 states, also accepts cash, checks and most major credit and debit cards.
