"The biggest variable for the market right now is all the money that's either on the sidelines or flowed out of stock funds last year and into bonds," said portfolio manager Bob Johnson of Satuit Capital Management, in an interview with MarketWatch. "People wanted to feel more secure six or eight months ago, so they went out of equities just at the point when they really should have been going in. Now they're feeling like they don't want to be left out."
