AP Source: Chrysler to report small sales increase in February compared with last year
A person briefed on the numbers says Chrysler Group LLC will report a slight sales increase when it releases February figures.
The rise would be Chrysler's first year-over-year increase in more than two years.
The person says the increase will be a few hundred vehicles, but it's a sign that the troubled company is starting to show improvement in the U.S. market.
The person did not want to be identified because the numbers have not been released. They are to be released later Tuesday.
The person says Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brand sales all saw year-over-year sales increases.
